Scubapro Diving Equipment

There’s a special place in my heart for Scubapro diving equipment.

Everyone has their favourites and when it comes to regulators, Scubapro is mine.

Their regulators are well made and easy breathing. But regulators aren’t the only thing that Scubapro has to offer. They make a full line of equipment including regulators, buoyancy compensators, fins, wetsuits and accessories.

Here are some highlights from the Scubapro line.

Scubapro Diving Equipment - Regulators

Scubapro offers a range of different regulators for every situation and price point. Here are a couple of notable combinations from their line.

MK2/R295
This combo is a work horse. It will deliver reliable performance dive after dive without fail. It is also an inexpensive combination that’s great for first time divers that want a dependable regulator but aren’t ready to spend the extra cash for all the bells and whistles yet.

MK25/G250
This is the set I used to dive when I was a dive instructor (actually it was a MK20, but the MK25 is the next generation). This set is a fully balanced combo that will deliver the same breath of air at 500 psi (35 bar) as it will at 3,000 psi(210 bar).

It’s a great set for serious divers.

MK25T/S600T
You want top of the line? I got your top of the line right here. Not only is this set a fully balanced, high performance powerhouse; it’s also made out of titanium.

This regulator combo is unbelievably light and completely corrosion resistant. If you’re looking for a regulator that will last you the rest of your life, this is it.

Scubapro Diving Equipment - Buoyancy Compensators

Scubapro Buoyancy Compensators are designed specifically for recreational sport divers. It seems like they’ve though of everything to make your dive more comfortable. Here are a couple of Scubapro’s top buoyancy compensators.

Classic Plus
This BC is amazing. The air bladder wraps around the entire BC including the front and the shoulders. Most BCs will try to push you into a horizontal position, but this BC will let you stay in any position you want. If you position yourself upside down and tilted slightly to the left, you’ll stay upside down and tilted slightly to the left.

The Nighthawk
The Nighthawk is Scubapro’s back mounted BC. The bladder is in the back which keeps your front free and clear. This BC is great for divers who need to carry a lot of gear with them such as underwater photographers.

Scubapro Diving Equipment - Mask, Snorkel and Fins

While Scubapro offers an assortment of masks and snorkels, it’s their fins that warrant extra attention. Two fins in particular stand out in the industry.

Jet Fins
These fins were developed in 1965 and are virtually unchanged today. Jet Fins have a cult following among technical and recreations divers alike. They may look like ugly hunks of rubber, but they work great.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Twin Jet Max
These fins have a split-fin design that gives you a surprising amount of power with minimal effort. Twin Jets will make any diving experience easier and more enjoyable.

Keep in mind that these Scubapro Diving Equipment products are a small sample of what Scubapro has to offer.

If you want high quality equipment that will last you a lifetime, Scubapro could be exactly what you’re looking for.
