We sent his regulator along with the documentation to Scubapro to see what they could do. A couple weeks later, we got a box back with a letter.

The letter apologised and said that there was no way that his regulator could be repaired. It went on to thank the gentleman for being such a loyal customer for the past 20 years. Finally it said, “Since we can no longer offer you service on your previous regulator, please except the enclosed as a replacement.” Scubapro had sent this guy a brand new Mark 20/D400 regulator. Now that’s service!
