Zeagle Scuba Equipment

Zeagle scuba equipment.

Most companies that manufacture dive gear tend to specialize in either recreational dive equipment or technical dive equipment. Zeagle scuba equipment seems to be the only one that has developed a favorable reputation in both arenas.

Though they’re known for their buoyancy compensators, Zeagle offers an array of diving equipment that spans from serious rescue BCs to strap-on dive fins for travel.

It’s not easy to make high quality equipment that appeals to both recreational and technical divers, but Zeagle seems to pull it off. Here’s some more information about the Zeagle line.

Zeagle Scuba equipment - Regulators

Zeagle makes some of the best regulators in the industry. After several years of partnering with Apeks, Zeagle has decided to go it alone and make their own regulators.

Quality is very important to Zeagle and to that end they decided it would be better if they kept an eye on the manufacturing process from start to finish. Apparently they’re doing something right because their Envoy regulators were the only regulators in their price range to earn a perfect score from Scuba Diving Magazine.

Here are a couple of the regulators that Zeagle offers:

Envoy
As I mentioned earlier, this regulator received a perfect score from Scuba Diving magazine’s testing lab. This regulator features a balanced diaphragm first stage and a pneumatically balanced second stage. When it comes to high performance and low cost, this regulator cannot be beat.

ZX/Flathead VI
This is Zeagle’s powerhouse. It’s a fully balanced, environmentally sealed monster of a regulator. This regulator will deliver air reliably in a wide range of conditions.

ReZort
Zeagle’s ReZort line of regulators is designed to take the punishment of repeated use. Developed for use as resort and dive shop rental gear, this regulator is a low cost and reliable option for new divers.

Zeagle Scuba equipment - Buoyancy Compensators

While Zeagle’s regulators are good, their buoyancy compensators are great. In my opinion, no one makes a better buoyancy compensator than Zeagle. Here are some highlights from the Zeagle line of buoyancy compensators.

Scout
The Scout is Zeagle’s option for divers on a budget. Unfortunately this buoyancy compensator lacks weight integration, but it’s a great entry level BC for a diver that wants a buoyancy compensator with a back-mounted bladder.

Concept II
For those of you who remember the original Concept BC, the Concept II is the same thing only better. It has weight integration with a back air dump to let you vent air as you decent. In addition, it sports a massive 44 lbs. (20 kg) of lift.

Ranger
The Zeagle Ranger is my favorite BC and the most imitated buoyancy compensator in history. This rugged diving machine has weight integration with Zeagle’s patented ripcord weight drop system, two rear air dumps, utility pockets and steel D-rings. I’ve used this BC for pretty much all my diving, cavern diving, wreck diving and for relaxing reef dives.

Zeagle Scuba equipment - Other Equipment

While Zeagle is known mostly for their buoyancy compensators, they do offer a full line of products and not all of them are oriented towards technical diving.

One example that comes to mind is Zeagle’s travel fins. These fins are small enough to fit in a small suitcase and still provide enough power to get you through easy reef dives.

Check out your local dive shop to see what Zeagle has to offer.

I promise you that it won’t be a wasted trip.
