Zeagle have you tried one?

Zeagle diving equipment.

Are you tired of having a buoyancy compensator that works just like everyone else’s? Are you thinking about getting into technical diving, but aren’t sure if it’s for you yet? Do you want military grade equipment that you can use to storm enemy beaches for God and country? Maybe I went a little overboard on that last question, but Zeagle does make some outstanding equipment that can hold its own in a variety of conditions.

In fact, they really do make buoyancy compensators for military diving! They also make equipment for rescue divers and technical divers, but that doesn’t mean they’ve forgotten about the recreational diver.

Zeagle scuba equipment includes regulators, buoyancy compensators and diving accessories.

No matter what kind of diving you do, Zeagle has the gear you need. In fact, my first buoyancy compensator was a Zeagle Ranger.

It performed well in open water conditions and overhead environments. That BC helped me bring so many weight belts to the surface that my students never had to buy their own!

Here’s a little more information about Zeagle.

Some Zeagle History

Zeagle is a privately held, family owned company out of Zephyrhills, Florida. Many of their products are manufactured at their headquarters, though some work is outsourced.

The quality of Zeagle’s equipment is a large source of pride for the company, so they try to control as much of the production process as possible.

Zeagle is a pioneer in the diving equipment industry and developed their first weight-integrated buoyancy compensator around 25 years ago. The idea wasn’t well received at the time and few manufacturers imitated Zeagle’s idea…at first.

Today most buoyancy compensators are weight integrated and the Zeagle Ranger buoyancy compensator is the most imitated BC in the industry.

Zeagle’s Claim to Fame

Few dive manufacturers can bridge the gap between recreational and technical divers, but Zeagle seems to do it with ease.

They literally have a buoyancy compensator for everybody. For example, new open water divers can start out with Zeagle’s Scout or LaZer BC, then move into a Zeagle Ranger as they start to do overhead environment and light recovery dives.

Divers who want to go deeper into caves or wrecks can transition into Zeagle’s Tech or Tech Pac BC. It doesn’t matter what you want to do, Zeagle has a BC that’ll work.

In addition, Zeagle has a unique ripcord design for their buoyancy compensators. All you have to do is pull the cord to drop your weights. This one-handed weight drop feature is a significant safety advantage that most BCs lack. The majority of weight integrated buoyancy compensators require two hands to drop all of your weight.

Zeagle is a great dive manufacturer to consider if you’re thinking about doing more than just looking around coral reefs when you dive.

Their back-mounted BC bladders help you stay horizontal in the water and make overhead environment diving and photography a lot easier.

Their equipment is well made, durable, and is a great choice for any serious diver.
